CELTIC roared back to all but secure the Scottish Premiership title with a rousing victory at home to Hearts on Monday. Ellis Simms' emphatic finish stunned the Tynecastle faithful as the Hoops took a massive step towards securing their 11th league crown in 12 years.

The Republic of Ireland international forward, who has 22 caps for his country, is poised to join Celtic on a permanent deal from Norwich City after negotiations that have been ongoing throughout the summer.

Celtic are also closing in on the loan signing of Adam Idah, also from Norwich City. The 22-year-old forward, who has represented his country at youth level, would provide additional firepower to Ange Postecoglou's side as they look to retain their title and challenge for the Champions League.
